PTFE Presintered Resin

PTFE presintered resin is an intermediate material that has undergone preliminary sintering treatment, it has a white granular appearance , mainly used in subsequent extrusion, molding and other molding processes.

Physical characteristics of PTFE presintered resin

  • 01

Regular particle shape, significantly improved flowability, easy for subsequent processing.

  • 02

Increased bulk density, reduced internal porosity, more tight structure

  • 03

Removed some low-molecular-weight impurities and oily substances, resulting in a more uniform molecular weight distribution and better thermal stability.

Advantages of PTFE presintered resin

  • Improved processing performance: Pre-sintered materials better adapt to pressure and temperature changes during subsequent extrusion or molding processes, reducing cracking and deformation, making them particularly suitable for producing thin-walled tubes, small-diameter bars, and other products requiring high dimensional accuracy.

  • Increased production efficiency: Enables batch processing, providing a stable base material for large-scale industrial production and shortening the overall production cycle.

  • Optimized finished product performance: Pre-sintering results in superior mechanical properties (such as tensile strength and hardness) and dimensional stability in the final product, meeting the demands of high-end applications.
