ETFE resin is the toughest fluoroplastic. While maintaining the good heat resistance, chemical resistance, and electrical insulation properties of PTFE, it has significantly improved radiation resistance and mechanical properties, with a tensile strength reaching 50 MPa, nearly twice that of PTFE. It is commonly used as a lining for critical components such as pipes, joints, pumps, and valves in fluid transport systems.
ETFE exhibits good processability and formability, balanced physical properties, good mechanical toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance. In particular, its adhesion to metal surfaces is outstanding. Furthermore, its average coefficient of linear expansion is close to that of carbon steel, making ETFE (F40) an ideal composite material for metals, possessing excellent negative pressure resistance. Meanwhile, due to ETFE's anti-aging properties, the service life of pump valve linings is effectively extended.
ETFE resin for pump valve lining is suitable for transporting fluids containing highly concentrated acids, alkalis, salts, strong oxidants, and other highly corrosive media, as well as high-temperature liquids. They can effectively prevent pump components from being damaged by the media and prevent pollution of the treatment environment.
