ETFE Powder For Rotational Lining

During rotational forming, ensure the tank wall thickness is as uniform as possible to avoid uneven heating of the powder, meanwhile ensure the tank interior is smooth to reduce air bubble generation.

Pretreatment removes grease, dust, and other contaminants from the surface, and roughens the surface to increase the effective surface area. To improve the adhesion of ETFE coating as well as uniformity and durability.

Confirm the inner surface area of the tank and the expected film thickness, then calculate the required amount of ETFE powder coating based on the density of ETFE. During the ETFE powder roll coating process, set an air outlet on the sealing cap to maintain pressure balance inside and outside the tank.

To obtain a smooth coating, it is recommended the ETFE powder particle size should be 150-300um. If too large particle size, it will not be easy to be adsorbed on the surface by electrostatic attraction; if too small particle size, it will easily cause problems such as spray gun clogging and low powdering efficiency.

The fluidity of ETFE powder after melting is crucial, the reasonable melt index is beneficial for flow and coat ability.

To ensure high quality of rotational lining, time and temperature settings need to be adjusted flexibly according to specific production conditions.
