PFA, a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether (PPVE), it has similar physical, chemical, and electrical properties to PTFE. However, PFA has a small number of perfluoroalkoxy side chains, which improves its viscosity and flowability, allowing it to be melt-processed. The low-molecular-weight form is a liquid or waxy substance, while the high-molecular-weight form is a white solid or dispersion.
