ECTFE is an alternating copolymer of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene at a molar ratio of 1:1. As a high-performance material, it features outstanding corrosion resistance, heat resistance and mechanical properties. This translucent semi-crystalline polymer is widely used in industries requiring high-performance materials, including chemical engineering, semiconductors, medical care and aerospace.

● Superior heavy corrosion resistance: Tolerates a pH range from 1 to 14.
● High mechanical strength: Harder, sturdier and more wear-resistant than conventional fluoroplastics.
● Excellent impermeability: Its water vapor barrier performance is 5 times that of standard fluoroplastics.
● Flame retardancy: Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) exceeds 52%.

The fiberglass fabric backed ECTFE sheet serve as lining for tanks and vessels that demand superior chemical resistance and structural strength.
ECTFE pipes can be used as optical fiber sheaths and lining for reinforced plastic pipes.

ECTFE resin is a pure fluorocopolymer. In addition to the excellent mechanical properties, weather resistance and chemical resistance common to fluoropolymers, it delivers exceptional light transmittance, with nearly no absorption of visible light and ultraviolet rays. Due to the chlorine atoms in its molecular structure, it has one of the lowest moisture vapor transmission rates among all fluoropolymers, effectively blocking the penetration of various liquids and gases ,and protecting substrates against corrosion and rust. It requires no additional additives such as UV stabilizers, heat stabilizers, plasticizers, lubricants or flame retardants.
