FEP resin is a fluoroplastic copolymerized from tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and hexafluoropropylene (HFP). Depending on the processing requirements, FEP is divided into three forms: granule, powder and dispersion. Among them, dispersion is used for impregnation and sintering; powder is mainly used for spraying; and the granule, according to their melt index, can be processed by compression molding, extrusion and injection molding and other methods.

FEP resin retains the properties of PTFE while offering the thermoplastic process-ability. It compensates for the processing difficulties of PTFE resin.
FEP long-term operating temperature is -85~200℃, the brittle temperature is -90℃ and its thermal decomposition temperature is above 400℃.
FEP resin exhibits outstanding mechanical strength, chemical stability, electrical insulation, lubricity property, wear resistance, non-stick, aging resistance and non-flammability. These properties make it widely applicable in fields such as wire and cable, electronics, chemical linings, aerospace, automotive, and semiconductor industries.
As a professional and service-oriented fluoropolymer FEP resin manufacturer, we offer a range of melt index grades for customer selection, and specially designed stress crack resistance grades for the demanding requirements.
