FEP is a high-performance fluoroplastic commonly used in the production of wires and cables. There are three common types of fluoroplastic cables: single-core cables, coaxial cables, and multi-core cables.
FEP resin can continuously operate at temperatures up to 200°C, short-term operate temperature reach 260°C. It has an oxygen index greater than 95, almost non-flammable, with low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss tangent. FEP material electrical properties remain almost unchanged over a fairly wide temperature range.
FEP resin for wire insulation
FEP insulated wire exhibits low attenuation and stable signal transmission, suitable for both high and low frequency applications.
FEP possesses excellent mechanical properties, even after extensive twisting and bending, the insulated wire maintains its integrity, protecting the internal conductors from external contact and preventing corrosion, short circuits, or leakage.
FEP insulated wires have good weldability, maintaining excellent electrical performance stability.
FEP can be extruded into extremely fine wires with stable form, consistent wire diameter that not prone to deformation.
FEP resin for cable sheathing
FEP cable jacket or sheathing can effectively resist mechanical impact and chemical corrosion from the external environment.
FEP material has low surface tension, FEP cable jacket or sheathing is not easily contaminated by external substances, and easy to clean.
