In the fluid transfer systems of chemical and other industries, the pumps and valves, as critical control components, are constantly exposed to demanding conditions, such as strong corrosion, high temperature and high pressure. FEP resin for pump valve lining can effectively prevent the equipment being corroded by chemical substances, significantly extend its service life, reduce maintenance costs and replacement frequency.
FEP is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene(TFE) and hexafluoropropylene(HFP). It has good melt flow ability and is usually processed by thermoplastic processing methods such as injection molding and extrusion.
